Kasun Priyashantha

Designer

Toronto, Ontario | akkpdesign@gmail.com

After years designing for the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the place that literally prints the money, I’ve mastered the art of making even monetary policy look good. From commemorative coins to high-stakes reports, I’ve delivered thousands of designs across print, digital, and social platforms. No pressure. Just national-level visibility.

Outside the office, I freelance under AKKPdesign, shoot a decent photo, build furniture, and sometimes wander into the woods with a tent and a camera. I believe great design solves problems, tells stories, and occasionally saves your brand from looking like a PowerPoint from 1998.

I’m a hybrid designer. Part old-school layout nerd. Part AI experimenter. Photoshop and Illustrator are second nature, but I’ve also embraced tools like Firefly and Midjourney to speed up workflows and spark fresh ideas. I design with purpose, but I’m also the guy who can fix your broken fonts, decode weird file formats, or make a last-minute flyer at 3 am. (Though I prefer not to.)

Now in Toronto and open to creative roles. Full-time, freelance, or something in between. Let’s talk if you need a designer who stays calm under pressure, is fun to work with, and knows when to kern.

That’s actually me, way up in a tree.
Sometimes you need a higher perspective…
